Allow Your Failure to Guide You to Prosperity & Abundance

We often use our past failures in the wrong way. We dwell on them. We revisit those terrible moments often. We keep replaying them in our heads and reliving the negative feelings associated with them. We keep thinking…what if I had done or said “X” instead. Maybe the outcome would be different…Maybe I would have been successful or happy.

Let me tell you how I look at life and how I value my past failures.

1. I believe everything happens for a reason. Especially what we consider “BAD” things.

2. I do not believe in coincidences. That just means you need to pay extra close attention to a message meant for you.

3. There are valuable lessons in every failure that we can use to improve our lives and our businesses.

Some years ago, I was engaged to be married to a man I thought was the man of my dreams. I thought my mate and me were working to build a wonderful life together, but discovered he no longer shared this plan. I accidentally stumbled on some evidence that suggested he was having an affair. I became consumed with finding out every detail and I did in fact find out that he was involved with several different women. I was heartbroken…devastated!!!

I had moved halfway across the country with him to support him in his business endeavors and was all alone in a strange city when this happened. I was embarrassed because I had to return to my home state and explain what happened to my friends and family. The relationship financially destroyed my life and I had to move in with my sister (I was sleeping on her sofa).

For a long time I blamed myself for that failed relationship. I relived the negative feelings and BELIEVED all men were like that. For some reason every man I started to attract was now like that. I got angry over and over again…but then I woke up. I started reading several self -help books like Think & Grow Rich & The Power of Your Subconscious Mind and I realized I could change my life if I changed my thoughts.

1. Everything happens for a reason – I questioned myself. What’s the reason? How could I help others like me? How could I turn this into a positive experience? I decided to start a website that would help others find out if they were in the same situations as me – and didn’t know it.

2. Nothing is a coincidence – This happened to me and I have the ability to use my experience and skills to help others. This situation pushed me into starting my own online money making business. And it’s something I’m good at and enjoy (because I’m nosy )

3. There are valuable lessons in every failure – While this relationship did not work out, it helped me to improve myself and my NEW business. It forced me to play an ACTIVE ROLE in controlling my Subconscious Mind and how I used the Law of Attraction (to attract good things…not bad things). After reflecting on my thinking at the time, I realized how much I didn’t value myself. I valued other people and what I could do for them. But once I started to value myself, I began to attract other people who genuinely valued ME and all that I have to offer and positive opportunities.

The goal is to reflect on your failures with an open mind and heart and see if there are opportunities to improve yourself or your business. Don’t look back in disappointment; look back as an optimistic student trying to learn. There is an abundance of everything you want and need in this universe (happiness, wealth, health…). You just have to know how to look for it and how to turn it into a positive.

No longer do I harbor negative feelings towards my ex because we just weren’t meant to be. And honestly if it weren’t for him, I might not have every jumped into the online business. This business was just a start to so many more. (Even started teaching people how to create ebooks & Audio and Video products). Believe it or not…today we actually joke about my website because he was impressed with the business idea it triggered. I’m updating the site now to teach people how to use those negative feelings for something positive and productive.

So remember Every Failure can bring with it Success.
